This Unique Motorcars Cobra replica was previously sold on BaT in August 2022, and acquired by the selling dealer in 2025. Subsequent work consisted of installing two rear tires, replacing a fuel line, the oil pan and exhaust manifold gaskets, and repainting the oil pan and bumperettes. It is finished in blue over black upholstery and is reportedly powered by a 462ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip rear axle. Features include a Jaguar independent rear suspension, Carrera coilovers, Wilwood disc brakes, 15″ Halibrand-style wheels, side pipes, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and Stewart-Warner instruments. This Cobra replica is now offered by the selling dealer with a snap-on tonneau cover and a clean Florida title listing it as a 1965 Shelby.
The fiberglass bodywork is finished in Grabber Blue with white stripes. Exterior features include a driver-side roll hoop, quick-jack bumperettes, side pipes, a driver-side mirror, a tonneau cover, and a Le Mans-style fuel cap. The bumperettes were repainted in 2025. Removed headlight guards will accompany the vehicle. Paint blemishes are noted on both doors.
Halibrand-style 15″ wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires all around. Braking is handled by Wilwood discs while the suspension is fitted with a Jaguar independent rear and Carrera adjustable coilovers. The rear tires were installed in 2025.
The cabin features low-back bucket seats trimmed in black leather upholstery with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Additional appointments include a dash-mounted rearview mirror, Simpson latch-and-link harnesses, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and Unique Motorcars-branded floor mats.
Stewart-Warner instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added by the seller.
The Ford V8 is said to have been bored and stroked to displace 462 cubic-inches. The engine features a Quick Fuel Technology carburetor, a K&N air cleaner, an aluminum intake manifold, Cobra-branded valve covers, and Taylor ignition wires. Work in 2025 is said to consist of replacing a fuel line, the oil pan and exhaust manifold gaskets, and repainting the oil pan.
A T-10 four-speed manual transmission routes power through a limited-slip rear axle with 3.55:1 gears. Additional underbody photographs are provided in the gallery below.
The Florida title indicates a VIN of A47931317, as shown on the replacement data plate above. The car previously had a data plate indicating an ID# of 9313.
