• G-Power adds new air intake, downpipes, and software tune for more power.
  • Hurricane RR forged 21-inch wheels bring extra style and sharper presence.
  • Carbon fiber parts throughout transform the M4’s look with a meaner stance.

Convertibles often get overlooked when tuners set their sights on high-performance BMWs. Coupes, sedans, and even Tourings tend to hog the spotlight, while the M4 Convertible remains in the shadows. That makes it the perfect canvas for G-Power’s latest creation, a droptop reworked into something capable of unsettling supercars.

The upgrades start with the engine, as they should. G-Power has fitted a new carbon fiber air intake, HJS downpipes, and a near rear silencer with aftermarket tailpipes, allowing the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder to breathe more freely. When combined with some software tuning, the engine is now good for 700 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. The tuner hasn’t released any acceleration figures, but it has said the car can now power through to 193 mph (310 km/h).

The car, which G-Power refers to as the G4M Bi-Turbo Convertible, sports more than some engine upgrades. It also features a host of lightweight carbon fiber parts, starting with an all-new hood, complete with numerous vents to help cool the engine bay. Additionally, G-Power has installed a carbon fiber engine cover featuring orange carbon elements.

Other carbon fiber pieces can be found on the front bumper and on the grille, which now mimics the design of the CS’s grille. The M4 Convertible has also been fitted with a set of Hurricane RR forged wheels measuring 21×9 at the front and 21×10.5 at the rear.

If you don’t own an M4 Cabriolet, don’t fret, as all of the engine upgrades made to this car can also be made to all other M3 and M4 versions. Additionally, there’s a 700 hp package on offer for the smaller M2, which is bound to make that car particularly fiery.
