No Reserve: 1969 Ford F-250 Ranger Camper Special for sale on BaT Auctions – ending December 9 (Lot #222,700)

This 1969 Ford F-250 Ranger Camper Special pickup was said to have remained off the road for approximately 20 years before the seller’s 2016 purchase. It is powered by a 360ci V8 linked with a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and finished in two-tone Wimbledon White and Lunar Green over black vinyl. Equipment includes power steering, 16″ steel wheels, dual side mirrors, and an AM radio. This bumpside F-250 is now offered at no reserve with a Deluxe Marti Report, the owner’s manual, manufacturer’s brochures, a service manual, service records, spare parts, two sets of keys, and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in Wimbledon White and Lunar Green and features a Styleside bed as well as dual side mirrors, side steps, and chrome trim. Corrosion is present throughout the body, and rust damage is shown on the left rocker panel and in the bed. The right side of the windshield is damaged.

The 16″ steel wheels are mounted with Sailun Terramax tires, which were reportedly fitted in 2018. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted drums at each corner.

The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl, and it has tears. The door cards have been removed, holes were cut into both doors, and there is rust along the edges. There is rust damage in the driver’s floor pan and in both door jambs. The seller states that the in-cab gas tank and seat belts were replaced by previous ownership.

The steering wheel frames a sweeping 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges, the latter of which do not work. The five-digit odometer shows 60k miles.

The 360ci V8 was factory rated at 215 horsepower and 327 lb-ft of torque.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and a Dana 60 rear axle with 3.73:1 gears. The transmission and torque converter were replaced in October 2020.
