This 1984 Ford Bronco Standard 4×4 was purchased by the current owner in 2021 and subsequently fitted with a 7.3-liter IDI diesel V8 that routes power to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Finished in Walnut Metallic and Medium Desert Tan over brown leather, the truck features a Gear Vendors overdrive unit, a Medium Desert Tan removable hardtop, 14-hole 15″ alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, Dakota Digital instrumentation, air conditioning, and a Sony touchscreen head unit. This Bronco is now offered on dealer consignment with a copy of the window sticker, a build sheet, manufacturer’s literature, invoices, a Carfax report, and a clean Delaware title.
The truck is finished in Walnut Metallic with a Medium Desert Tan removable hardtop and upper and lower bodywork. The two-spoke steering wheel frames Dakota Digital instrumentation consisting of a 110-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. AutoMeter gauges for fuel pressure and exhaust gas temperature are mounted on the steering column. The replacement digital odometer indicates 82k miles, approximately 20k of which were added under current ownership. A potential odometer rollover is listed in a July 2021 entry on the Carfax report. A 7.3-liter IDI diesel V8 is said to have been sourced from a 1989 F-250 and rebuilt approximately 20k miles ago before being installed in 2023. The seller says that the radiator has been upgraded and that the fuel pump and injectors were recently replaced.
The four-speed manual transmission has a Gear Vendors overdrive unit, and power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a dual-range transfer case. The seller says that the rear differential has been rebuilt and that a Tom Wood’s Custom driveshaft has been installed along with 1350-series universal joints and replacement axles.
