This 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo is finished in Black Metallic over black leather upholstery and powered by a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes front and rear spoilers, fog lights, 16″ Fuchs wheels, and an aftermarket stereo system. It was previously sold on BaT in March 2023 and was acquired by the current owner in 2024. This 930 Turbo is now offered in Emeryville, California on dealer consignment with the owner’s manual and a clean Montana title.
Finished from the factory in Black Metallic (708), the bodywork was repainted during previous ownership. A stock front valance has been installed since the last auction, and equipment includes fog lights, a sunroof, a “tea tray” rear spoiler, orange rear turn signal lenses, and a rear window wiper. Photos of paint meter readings are provided in the gallery.

Staggered-width 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Exalto tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/50 out back. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel ventilated discs.

The seats are trimmed in black leather, and equipment includes an aftermarket alarm system, a fire extinguisher, power windows, a Blaupunkt Bremen stereo with Bluetooth, and aftermarket door speakers. The air conditioning is inoperative, the headliner is stained and torn, an aftermarket combination-lock emergency brake handle is installed, and a radar detector system is fitted but disabled. The seller notes softening of the driver’s seat bottom foam and wear on the driver’s left outer bolster.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 98k miles. The trip odometer is not functional.

The turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six was factory rated at 261 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque. The oil cooler lines were replaced and an oil change was performed in October 2025. The car passed a California emissions test in November 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The selling dealer notes that shifts from first to second gear are “a little notchy” when the transaxle is cold. Aftermarket exhaust components have been installed.
