$1.4B Leaves QQQ as Technology Stocks Lead Market Malaise

The Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) experienced outflows of $1.4 billion as the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite tumbled 2% amid tariff concerns, according to etf.com daily fund flows data.

The T. Rowe Price Capital Appreciation Equity ETF (TCAF) pulled in $454.6 million, representing an 11.5% increase to its asset base. The SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 ETF (SPLG) attracted $424.3 million, and the iShares S&P 500 Growth ETF (IVW) gained $380.8 million, even as the S&P 500 dropped 1.1% on worries about potential auto tariffs.

The Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) saw outflows of $2 billion, continuing its recent redemption trend. The SPDR Bloomberg 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF (BIL) experienced outflows of $857.2 million, representing a 2.1% decrease to its $41.3 billion in assets.

The ETF industry recorded net inflows of $1.1 billion, with international equity funds attracting $1.1 billion while U.S. fixed-income funds lost $350.7 million. U.S. equity funds managed slight inflows of $87 million.
